One Herd clothing started with the idea of community. A community that includes North Dakota State University students, alumni, faculty and fans as well as Fargo and North Dakota residents that are members of Bison Nation. With this mindset, One Herd decided to giveback to the Fargo community by donating one dollar per product sold to Lend A Hand.
On Jan. 17, One Herd cashed in on its promise by donating $5,000 to Lend A Hand, a program that helps families in need of financial assistance during a medical crisis. Lend A Hand is a program created through the Dakota Medical Foundation, and for every dollar given to the program, Dakota Medical Foundation matches the donation.
With the matching finds, One Herd’s $5,000 gift turned into $10,000 that will be fully distributed by Lend A Hand to Cass and Clay families facing medical catastrophe.
Last year alone, Lend A Hand partnered with caring community members to raise $1.9 million for 53 of our neighbors in need.
One Herd will show its Bison Pride by continuing its relationship with Lend A Hand this year.
