Stratton Earns Second Straight SL P-O-W Award

ELMHURST, Ill. - North Dakota State junior defender Abbey Stratton was named the Summit League defensive player of the week after leading the Bison to a 0-0 double overtime draw with unbeaten Iowa State. It is her second straight weekly honor.
Stratton limited Iowa State's top scorer to only two shots and helped limit the team to nine. The Champlin, Minn. native tallied one shot in the draw.
The Bison have now notched two straight shutouts and are unbeaten through three games with a 2-0-1 record.
NDSU plays Creighton tonight at 6 p.m. at Morrison Stadium in Omaha, Neb.
