Fred Newell

Maybe one of the scrapiest players in any of NDSU Division I teams, Newell, isn’t afraid to steal the ball or dribble circles around opponents. Newell joined the men’s basketball team in 2009, and has added a lot to the men’s program.

 

1. What is your new years resolution?

To stop pretending it isn’t time to take the garbage out yet, by repeatedly smashing it down.

2. Best motto of all time?

“We all have ability. The difference is how we use it.” – Stevie Wonder
3. What is your most prized possession?

My computer.
4. Favorite pregame meal?

Steak, pasta, baked potato and cereal.
5. What is your signature dance move?

Anything in slow motion.

6. Any superstitions that you have during the season?

I always wear 2 pairs of socks on game days.

Miki Stephenson
Stephenson has been a member of the Bison Women’s Basketball squad for the past two seasons, and has truly begun to let her talent show. Stephenson has been a standout with several offensive and defensive rebounds this season.

1. What is your new years resolution?

Spend more time with family and friends.

2. Best motto of all time?

“The true test of character is what you do when no one is watching.”

3. What is your most prized possession?

My dog, Buddy.

4. Favorite pregame meal?

Cereal or Peanut Butter & Jelly.

5. What is your signature dance move?

“Frame the Face.”

6. Any superstitions that you have during the season?

I take a nap before every game.

Bobby Ollman
Ollman made his debut as a true freshman in 2009, and has played in every game of his career as a Bison. Ollman is a part of the special teams and continues to make big plays.

1. What is your new years resolution?

To keep appreciating the small things in life.

2. Best motto of all time?

“No matter how bad your day is going or no matter how bad you feel, just know that there is someone else in the world who is struggling way worse then you are.”

3. What is your most prized possession?

My cell phone.

4. Favorite pregame meal?

Spaghetti and a baked potato.

5. What is your signature dance move?

There is so many I don’t know where to start. Lets just say when Katy Perry’s “Firework” comes on I’m in the zone.

6. Any superstitions that you have during the season?

I have two playlists on my i-pod that I listen to before every game.

Christian Dudzik
This Bison football player has been a stand out for the football program since joining the team in 2010. During his freshman season, Dudzik had 72 tackles, including 45 solos and 2.5 tackles for loss.

1. What is your new years resolution?

Get off Facebook and Twitter and use that time to develop mentally and physically…Also, follow me – @CeeDud 🙂

2. Best motto of all time?

3. What is your most prized possession?

Prized and priced possession – My 2000 White Jeep Cherokee – I’m a very independent person, and I like to do things on my time. So I have to have a vehicle.

4. Favorite pregame meal?

Mashed potatoes and gravy with meats, ye.

5. What is your signature dance move?

The “Grant Olson Finger Drums” dance.

6. Any superstitions that you have during the season?

The more film I watch, the better prepared I am for a game.
